Air filter replacement (affects fuel consumption)
This is a demonstration using a 2020 PCX model (JK05).
The structure is similar to other models such as the JF81, JF56 and JF28, so please use this as a reference.
Remove the eight Phillips head screws from the air filter box cover.
Remove the three Phillips screws securing the air spring. (Models prior to 2020 do not have screws securing the air spring.)
During installation, make sure to connect the air purifier duct.
Some people occasionally forget this, so please double-check it to be safe!
Reassemble it and take it for a test drive.
Even though it doesn't make a dramatic difference, it does affect fuel efficiency, so we recommend replacing it regularly.
